Coordinates, plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates site Emergency preparedness program in line with the emergency response plan requirements
Provides direction to response teams and advice to plant management during disaster or emergency situations
Work with all levels within the organization ensuring that all emergency systems and programs are managed and implemented in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
Organize, supervise and coordinate training programs and qualification of personnel related to emergency response, on handling and use of equipment and systems.
Ensures efficient training of operations and emergency staff in emergency response in compliance with NFPA requirements
Implements policies and procedures to meet emergency management goals and objectives
Ensures emergency equipment is in place, inspected and in ready condition always (e.g. fire truck, breathing apparatus, rescue equipment, etc)
Works with the OSH Manager in development and completion of emergency management system audit actions.
Controls and directs emergency response teams and equipment (fixed and mobile)
Effective team player and engage with all levels of the organization to ensure emergency preparedness of the site
