Minimum of five years of continuous experience in database & data management technologies, including Database Design, Data Maintenance, Database Security, Database Management, Requirements Analysis, with at least three recent years of primary data architecture /design.
Hands-on experience in data analysis (source systems), Data Architecture, Data Modeling and Database Design.
Perform various project related database requests for large, enterprise level customers. Tasks often include DDL generation, cloning, schema and/or table level data refreshes, performance tuning.
Strong LINUX and/or UNIX experience (scripting experience/knowledge a big plus).
Has extensive experience in designing large data models for complex systems.
Data Architecture / Modeling experience; Delivering both logical models and physical designs.
Exposure to more than one domain (i.e. banking, government, telecom, retail etc…) is preferred.
Experience in Agile SDLC is a plus.
Understanding of Web services (SOAP, XML, UDDI, WSDL).
Participate with DBA team on a weekly on-call 24x7 pager rotation schedule. DBA on call work may also be performing scheduled off-hour maintenance operations as well as dealing with after- hours troubleshooting.
Strong Experience with Disaster Recovery implementation and testing using DataGuard and GoldenGate preferred.
Working knowledge of ERWIN, Power Designer or similar industry data modeling tools.
Solid knowledge of at least 2 RDBMS, preferably Oracle and SQL server.
